It would appear from this post on the Aerodrome that former member Peter Cooksley has died, although no date has been given.

Yes, I second that. Please explain. Hopefully it isn't true that Peter has died. If he hasn't ,which i sincerely hope is the case, why have these rumours circulated.

I was informed earlier today by Croydon Airport Society Chairman Frank Anderson that Peter Cooksley is unwell but is being looked after. Whoever started the rumour of his death should be unfrocked at the very least.. A possible explanation might be that his wife, who died last year, was also P. Cooksley.
