There is an all day Royal British Legion event at the Village Hall in Nutfield, Surrey (RH1 4JJ) on Saturday. Here is the itinerary:

11:00 Doors Open
Displays of local interest including all the fallen soldiers of Nutfield.
Displays of national interest and memorabilia

12.00 Susan Lawton (Blue Cross) talk and presentation
13:00 Norman Skinner (East Surrey Museum) talk and presentation
13.30 Andrew Hughes (SSAFA) talk and presentation
14.00 Trevor Green (Salvation Army) talk and presentation

14.30 Light refreshments – Tea, coffee, squash,
cake (World War 1 recipes)

15.00 David Marks (Cross and Cockade) talk and presentation
15:30 Eric Putland (Royal British Legion) talk
16:00 Choir medley – Finale ‘We Will Remember Them’
17:00 Doors Close

You will note that after the WW1 cake, yours truly takes to the stage - with a 30 minute version of my "Warning! Zeppelin Raid" presentation.  

As Cross & Cockade have sent me south of the Thames, please could any CCI members in the area please drop in and say hello!

Just to confirm that the talk last Saturday afternoon when really well - condensing the story of Zeppelin and airship raids on Britain into 30 minutes was quite a challenge - and the audience seemed to like it.  
I spent the next hour fielding questions as I walked round what was a very well put together exhibition. Hopefully it got the CCI name out there too!

If anyone needs a speaker - let me know!!
