while I was at Wickenby photographing the WW2 Watch Office on 21 September, there was a crackling popping sound approaching the airfield - not the usual modern roaring - and looking up a biplane appeared from the edge of the field for touchdown....never expected to see this - just had to take a few photos ![]() ![]() Chris |
