I know that the RFC had an airfield at, or named, Harling Road but whereabouts in the country was it?

There was an Air-Britain article on Harling Road. I'll dig it out and send you a copy.
 
I seem to recall that 51(HD) Squadron was there.

The Harling Road article was in Airfield Review, July 2002, and was by Geoff Simmons.
 
He makes no mention of SEs, though he does cite you as one of his references !
 
Main info seems to be from Air 1/452/15/312/26

Maybe I should return the favour and cite him as one of my references!
