This Vol. covers: Robey-Peters Scouts. Royal Aircraft Factory, from AE3,BEs FEs. N.E.1. SE2 SE4 SE4a SE5 SE5a SE5b. Sage type 2. Sopwith aircraft from Tabloid through to Camel. Inside is a small handwritten note in pencil addressed to Jack Bruce.

‘Dear Mr Bruce, Your letter of the 30.12.67 received. Don’t think I can help you much. However, give me a little time and I will write again in a few days. Yours sincerely. E R Macdonald.’

E R Macdonald was a pilot with 56 Squadron in 1918.

Book is in excellent condition with only a very small half inch tear (repaired) in the dust cover.

Vols 5 and 6 of Flypast. These are soft cover, bound editions of the Profile issues. Published by Profile Publications in 1972.
