Professor Johannes Werner. Casemate UK Ltd, as above. 256pp, 120×190mm, hardback. ISBN 978-1-93514-911-8, £16.99. First published in English in 1933, this is another must-have classic. Boelke will be remembered as a superb fighter pilot and as the author of the Dicta Boelke, which was the standard textbook for fighter pilots in two World Wars. Another Ace killed in a preventable flying accident, again I wonder what post war Germany would have been like if he and so many other outstanding young men had survived. |
