Sorry to say I cannot help you with the Surrey crash sites etc.

Thanks for that, HuckJ: have sent them a mail. Just a quickie: There are several sites on the Web, County - by - County, detailing aircraft crashes. Surrey does not seem to figure!! Do you know of any sites re aircraft losses over Surrey??

No need to visit unless you want a look round, an email or letter to DORIS (Department of Research & Information Services) research@rafmuseum.org should be sufficient.

Have you tried asking the RAFM if there is a casualty card for either of these two men?

Does anyone have details of the crash of Lt Jordan and Sgt Handley at Brooklands, Surrey, on 20th August, 1917 - Type and serial Number of aircraft, for example.
