Hi.

Thought I'd ask ,  as am having no luck to-date,  if anyone knows of a new or used Hangar 9 ARF Fokker DVII that's available.

Any help in tracking one down very much appreciated.  Star

Sincerely,  Simon.

Can I assume from the lack of response that no one else has ever heard of this rc Fokker DVII and I live inside a vaccum.

Does no one know anything about this DVII.

Thanks,  Simon.

Hi Simon
You are addressing a society of historians, some of whom have/had an interest in static scale model aircraft, but I have yet to encounter anyone in the Society with a burning interest in flying scale models, let alone r/c. So, perhaps this isn't the best forum for such a question ?
You could try World War One Aeroplanes at http://www.ww1aeroinc.org/ That Journal has a regular column on scale models, both static and flying.

Hi.

I tried the contact given,   but sadly no-one responded.

I find it hard to believe that those with a similar interest as mine, [ WW1 aviation ]  have no interest or knowledge of this particular model,  especially as it seems to me to be the best DVII out there and people who bought it must have been flying it for some while now.

Regards,  Simon.

I feel your pain. I'm in Australia and see a few of these from time to time. Their SE5a is also popular. Hobbyking have an electric DVII that flys very well.
