 | We have two levels of index, designed to help you find which journal
article contains the information you're looking for

| The article index contains the title of each article published in the
journal since it was first published back in 1970, and the name of it's author(s). It's
searchable on-line using the "find on this
page" facility available as a standard feature of your browser, typically
underneath "edit" on the menu bar. Note that
the heading for each volume is a live link to the relevant sales page.
Alternatively you can search all journals from 1970 to 2005 by
downloading the Adobe Acrobat (PDF) file CCI Index - this will
take a minute or two, depending on your connection speed, as the file
is 3.25Mb. Then use the "search" facility built in to
Acrobat Reader - which can be downloaded free of charge from
the Adobe web site - link below:
If you have any trouble accessing the CCI Full Index PDF file
through your browser, or you want to search the index more quickly than
is possible online, you can download it by right-clicking on the
link above and choosing "Save Link As" from the list of
options. Once you've saved the index file to your computer, you can then
use Acrobat Reader to search the index far more quickly.

| Within Acrobat Reader just follow these
instructions to find any word appearing in the index of the whole run of journals
- over 35 years!
On the drop down menu next to the Find box choose "Open Full Reader
Search" [Shift+Ctrl+F] and then enter whatever word or phrase you wish to look for – name, aircraft type, geographic location or other criteria – in the
Search box and click on Search. Any result will be
listed.
Then double click on any item shown in the results list to see its exact volume and page reference. For a clearer idea of
the context, you can refer to the Abstracts section at the start of the particular volume, for a précis of the article in which the item appears.
Once you've identified an article of interest you can proceed straight
to the relevant sales section on the web site to make a purchase!
